La Plata Studios was founded in 2003. The first title in 2004 would be stand-alone add-on "Blitzkrieg - Burning Horizon" to the best-developed add-on in the company's history of the German publisher CDV. Already in 2004, worldwide nearly 100,000 La Plata-selling games and numerous top-10-chart rankings achieved. At the end of 2004 new title "Blitzkrieg - Rolling Thunder" has been released. In 2005 and 2006 appeared specifically for the budget-market games designed "Blitzkrieg Anthology" / Iron Division, Blitzkrieg 'Green Devils' AKTronic and Germany of "Blitzkrieg Exclusive pack." Meanwhile, worldwide more than 350,000 La Plata games are sold. (of which the trade press, however, most believed that it was games of the engine suppliers Nival Interactive acted.)

Fall Weiss Mod for Blitzkrieg - another excellent mod currently developmentFall Weiss: Where the War Started" is a modification of the Russian Real Time Strategy game Blitzkrieg, with the objective to recreate the German-Soviet invasion of Poland in 1939 as realistic as possible, but without ruining the thrill of the gameplay. With over 180 new units, the player will get an unique chance to try out some of the armoured vehicles used the the first phases of the Second World War. I Ausf. B light tank, the Soviet T-28 medium tank and the Slovak LT vz. 35 light tank. *Use new types of units in combat like cavalry, armored transport/engineering vehicles, flamethrowers and NCOs.
