A new documentary game project War Today: Five-Day War is new project of international game design team led by Aarre Games Ltd. Something you must not miss. Beautiful graphics, astonishing models, high-quality content. Not to mention goal of absolute accuracy. Click READ MORE to find out more.

In 08.08.2008. war broke out in South Ossetia. Happened right on the Olympic day. Some might have seen it but most of us heard for it. Even though it had lasted for 5 days it was enough in ferocity for this conflict to become full-scale war. International team working on this game decided to make realistic documentary about those events which took place in 2008. What makes this project more complex is the utmost goal of creating accurate and realistic game based on real events. But without any political background. Game is made solely and purely for gaming and without any political background.

In the creation process many data is included. Satellite images, real-time photos and videos, all from the scene of battlefield. Included are objects and buildings unique to Ossetia landscape. Main campaign will include 10+ missions for Russia/South Ossetia side with missions for Georgian side being available as a separate download later. Typically missions will be around and in Tskhinvali which means you must gear yourself up for some urban combat. Bear in mind modern combat is quite difficult and differs from WWII tactics.
Unlike WWII soldiers today carry a lot of anti-tank weapons plus modern and accurate firearms. It means tough battle is ahead. But it doesn't mean it will be "50 Pershing and 50 King Tigers" type of battle. Every single vehicle placed on map is there with the reason and accurate. Speaking of vehicles there is big variety of them with perfect graphical quality.
