I have decided to make a public statement concerning GZM forum members attitude towards me and my work.

First of all, I have to say this is the last resort and last word of me on this subject. I don't hate anyone, I don't feel angry towards anyone and I don't want to do any bad thing to anyone - I just feel truly disappointed. Here are the reasons.

I have been accused of being "sold soul" to the "capitalistic burgeons West" and stuff like that. Going commercial with Kosovo Sunrise made them real angry for me, how can I make any profit from the Blitzkrieg game?

Well, how could 1C make profit? How could ActiveGaming, BlackBean, LaPlata or anyone? By putting work in it and by living in the free world where anyone, I underline this anyone can do their best and create some product that's commercial, put money in it, distribute it, do one million things to make it legal and available in the shops. Countless hours, day and night, working on the project that's eating your time, sleep, money and most important of all: health. I am not saying people who make free-for-all mods and modifications experience milk and honey. Many people also give very big sacrifice to create something nice in Blitzkrieg world. But my point is: after years of work I am not allowed to create something commercial?

My answer would be: yes, I am allowed. Why? Because you have freedom of choice: you don't have to buy it. It's so simple people. You don't like me, the project or facts around it: don't buy it, don't play it. Therefore all of us would be really happy.

But what happens actually? Not only they (I speak about criticizers from GZM community) will get Kosovo Sunrise through the means that are not legal, not only they would play it but they would also strip it apart. They will take parts, ideas, content. And still they would have nerve to insult me, my work and my integrity.

It's very funny paradox. On one hand you have people calling Kosovo Sunrise project various names (without even playing it yet) and on the other hand those same people will strip it apart. My guess of their behavior: envy. Pure envy, hatred and jealousy that I have managed to pull this through, climb all obstacles and actually complete greatest project of my life. As far as I am concerned I can only use common saying in Serbian language: "You can only spit under my window and hate me." And I will really put it into action.

There are a lot of people in the community which would stand behind me and support me. Either I have helped them out somehow in the long history of Blitzkrieg mod making, they like my work or they just feel what is right and what is wrong. And I will always help them out, support them by all means needed and create Blitzkrieg content for their pleasure.

Next thing on the agenda is touchy topic that some of the GZM members touched but should have stayed kilometers aways from it. That is: Kosovo war 1999 and some "glorious Russian help that Serbia has received". When someone says pure idiotic things like this he is actually poking me in the eye and no one likes being poked in the eye, isn't that true? My idea of conversation is that you shouldn't make statements and stand the ground based on the knowledge you don't have. It would be the same like asking me what I think about Falklands war? I don't think anything, I don't know anything about it and to be honest, I wouldn't like to start conversation about it. I would probably say something stupid and idiotic. Just because I don't know anything about it, only some small things. My point is this:

-Serbia was bombed

-Russia didn't intervene (had it's own reasons, I won't go into that)

-Russian people, some volunteers came and I respect that to the heaven and back

-I have lost a lot in it. I won't make a list, it's not important. Important thing is: I was there, before and during the war. Period.

I don't judge anyone, I don't hate Russia or United States, all had their reasons. But for that ground don't poke me in the eyes and say NOTORIOUS lie like "Russia sent ammunition to Serbia" (we have ammunition for the 50 years war, we are exporting damn thing).

This had to be released from my chest. I must warn though, this applies only for certain people. Most of the people in GZM community are good people, hard working and good mod makers. I respect their work and will continue to respect it in the future. I respect any work any member has done in our community. But the others must learn to do the same. I must remind people like Ilyaka, Uzbek etc. that this is not communist era - my project and life is not Kolkhoz. I am paying Russian gas that heats me during the winter. I am paying it, I am not taking it and then crying about it and saying "they have sold to the capitalists" and nonsenses like that. I don't even want to start about Uzbek, man who's got big mouth and small community contribution. I have insulted Ilyaka. Maybe it was too big insult but it's common Serbian saying we are using when someone taps on your nerves and really pisses you out. But I am not sorry. I am sorry and appologize for using bad configuration of insult, some people might think I have insulted the whole of the Russia which was NOT my intention.

You people have to understand that anything commercial must be payed. Why? because this is 21st century. We are not living in the tribe community, people are working and making up their living. It's easy for some to enjoy benefits of Blitzkrieg while their parents still support them, pay for the bread on the table and cloth to wear. But remember, some people have to support their famillies. They work this. Nival made commercial game, not a freebie. If it wasn't for the people like me, Nival, LaPlata, BlackBean, ActiveGaming etc. what would you been playing and moding all these years?

And to draw this final line on the subject: do whatever you want, make whatever you want, say whatever crosses your mind but you will never kill those facts above. As far I am concerned you can take anything you want from commercial and non-commercial products to make GZM. I will not have any problems with that, you might have. For my stand any work done by community: I am happy with it as it lenghtens life to this wonderful game. But if you really think I have sold out for several Euros, that Kosovo Sunrise is some piece of crap then stop talking about it. Don't play it, erase it from your minds. Don't even mention it. But you cant, that's a fact. And it's a funny fact as well. The same point of hatred towards me, a sold-out man who has dared to insult Ilyaka (by the way, haven't I mentioned that while I was making maps and trying to solve out problems with Lee back in 2004. you had no idea what Blitzkrieg is?) cannot be erased from your minds. Deep inside there are many people who think the same as me and frankly, I would like them to keep it inside them and cause no trouble or inside brawls. It's not worth of it people. Until several people learn to respect the others, olders, those who have contributed to this community a lot without regret, until those few grow up a bit you shouldn't even mention it. Keep up your work and enjoy benefits of Blitzkrieg.
